Kanha Tiger Reserve is the most famous of central Indian forest areas where people visit to spot and photograph Tigers and other wild animals. Kanha Village Eco Resortwelcomes you to Kanha National Park. After orientation about this beautiful Sal and Bamboo forest, its flora and fauna we are ready for our wildlife photography expedition to this world famous tiger reserve.
We leave for core area of Kanha tiger reserve early morning. It is going to be a whole day safari and we will be coming back only by late evening after sunset so prepare accordingly. We will be having our breakfast and lunch inside the park at designated spots.
Kanha forests are famous for Tigers as well as one of the rarest deer species in the world – Hard ground Barasingha. We will get chance to spot and photograph both in their natural habitat. Since we are entering the forest 20 minutes before general tourists and get 20 minutes extra while coming out in the evening along with full noon time inside the park this is our biggest advantage. Our guide and driver will track and spot Tiger, Leopard, Sloth bear, Jungle cat and other wild animals for you to photograph.
Today is our third full day safari in core area of Kanha national park. With 22 known species of mammals, 259 birds and host of other flora and fauna you will get enough chance to spot and photograph some rare moments. Our accompanying guide and driver will be on lookout of rare moments and elusive animals for you to photograph.
On fourth full day safari today we will be tracking tigers andwill be on lookout of rare wildlife moments. Figs, Mahua and Palash trees flower in March – April and so attract many species of birds and butterflies. You can get a chance to photograph them up close in this period. Flora and fauna of Kanha will give you enough opportunities to photograph. From dawn to dusk we have been visiting Kanha and covered almost every area of the park opened for tourism.
Today our wildlife photography expedition to Kanha has come to an end. We leave for our next destination after breakfast with a pledge to return back to these pristine forests.
